(1983) 80s Club International Edition: The transition from the disco sound by @thisislebron
The first transmission from the 80s Club. LeBRON, founder of the Paris collective Boogie Frizzante, follows disco as it turns toward the synthetic "sound of the future" Giorgio Moroder was already promising. The set lives in 1983, the year the machines took the floor. He came up on the Breakbot mixtape series before building Boogie Frizzante into one of Paris's sharpest nights for disco, boogie, and Italo.
The analog world runs forward.
It is INEVITABLE.
We are building a present with weight and duration. Every object, mix, and essay is chosen to outlast the year it was made.
